CHINGJAROI: At A Glance

- Developed by Sunbird Trust and Learn for Life Foundation, the hostel addresses critical barriers such as long travel distances, poor infrastructure, poverty, and limited access to quality schooling.
- The hostel creates stability and continuity in education for children from 15 surrounding villages, who would otherwise struggle to attend school regularly.
- By offering a secure, supportive living environment close to school, the program reduces dropout rates, promotes academic success, and empowers students with opportunities for growth, resilience, and long-term community development through education.
